Welcome to Schuck Equestrian-Diamond Oaks Farm featuring Lessons, Boarding & Training, Showing,
Horse & Carriage Rides, Equine Transport, Winter Guest Rentals, Horse Hotel.
-I have been teaching clients and horses for over 35 years.
-I am a multi-discipline equestrian (dressage and eventing are most prominent in my career).
-I use a biomechanics technique (the Mary Wanless “Ride With Your Mind” system).
- I have been participating in Mary Wanless “Train the Trainer” programs and hosting her Minnesota and Florida clinics at my farm for 14 years
- I practice balance and communication to build trust and understanding between horse and rider.
- I focus on bringing awareness of body alignment and weighting to create balance and harmony between the horse and rider.
- I am a horse advocate with respect and kindness towards the horse paramount, not at discord with the rider having to be firm and assert themselves in the training of the horse.
- I have trained over 1000 horses and coached more than 500 riders.
- I have been given horses to train as a last resort for others that have considered the horse to be “untrainable” and turned the horse into a well-trained, calm and stable performer.
What is your teaching breadth and style?
My primary focus is relationship building and having FUN.
I work in a gentle patient style to build trust and confidence in my students and horses.
I enjoy giving students experiences they have never had before, trail rides to state or national parks, working cattle, cattle drives, schooling horse shows, recognized horse shows, carriage rides, ‘adventure road trips’, etc.
I am experienced in dressage through the I1, eventing through preliminary, show jumping, gymnastic training including cavaletti exercises, carriage driving singles and pairs, western dressage, ranch horse riding, trail riding, and obstacles. I have also recently added Cowboy Dressage to my portfolio.
I want to give my students and clients the skills to make them confident to do
whatever they want with their horse and never question it in their mind.
What environments are you willing to teach and train within?
I have my own farm, previously in Minnesota, and now in Ocala Florida where I teach and train using my premium school horses or a client’s horse enrolled in my full board and training program.
The Facility Offers:
Large oak training round pen
Large fenced-in GGT professional regulation dressage arena
14 stalls in a classic Floridian shed-row airy barn (12x12 or 12x24)
Some stalls offered with run in paddocks
Large turn out paddocks for grazing
I also travel to my students. I travel locally in Ocala Florida, but I also strive to drive anywhere in the United States to work with another horse enthusiast and their horses during each hot, rainy Florida summer.
I have a 4 star 4 horse head to head gooseneck trailer with a box stall in the center ( can haul up to 6 horses );
I tow the gooseneck with my 1 ton Chevy truck.
I also have a 40 foot Safari Class A Motorhome that I tow a 20 foot 3 horse 4 star bumper pull
for “living on the road” during the summer.
I have my Commercial Driver's License, DOT # and insured to haul horses locally or Interstate.

"I grew up in a very horsy community of Medina Minnesota. I was very fortunate to be exposed to many equestrian disciplines but found eventing and dressage my primary focus.
